“The Power to Invest: Due Diligence & Private Placements Workshop” will examine ways investors can protect their hard earned savings from Ponzi schemes, scams, and fraud. The Workshop will also feature an advanced education session on investing in private placements with a self-directed IRA, an investment strategy often abused by scammers. It takes place on October 18, 2012, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST, at the Courtyard Marriott in Marina Del Rey, CA.
